Kutaisi gets its first branded hotel

Best Western Kutaisi, the first branded hotel opened in Kutaisi, Imereti region. This 3-star hotel was built jointly by the Partnership Fund and Capitol Kutaisi Holding. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, representatives of the Cabinet and other invited guests attended the festive opening of the hotel. According to David Saganelidze, CEO of the Partnership Fund, development of infrastructure in regions and assessment of private business is the fund’s strategy. "There is a demand for high-class hotels in Kutaisi and the opening of this first branded hotel will motivate other companies,” Saganelidze said. Located in the historic center of the city, the hotel has 40 standard and five lux rooms, three conference rooms, indoor and outdoor cafés and restaurants and adapted rooms for people with disabilities. The total cost of the project is $ 3 mln, while the Fund’s participation is estimated at $ 1.4 mln. The development of the hotel was implemented by Simetria. T3 Hospitality Management, an international hotels management company, is carrying out operational management, for which this is the first project in Georgia.
