Vice-President of K-Water visited the Partnership Fund

The Partnership Fund hosted Byoung-Seub Choi, Vice-President of K-Water and the companies representatives based in Georgia. Senior Officials of the Fund familiarized the guests with the latest information of Nenskra HPP project, a joint project implemented by the Fund and Korean Company K-Water. Preparation works were launched in the fall of this year. Currently, construction of road and geological-related issues are underway. Salini Impregilo, an Italian company, is carrying out the construction works.A 280 mw Nenskra HPP project is implemented by the Partnership Fund and K-Water on the river Enguri, upper Svaneti mountainous region. The HPP’s potential capacity will be 1.2 b kwt/h. The total cost of the project is estimated at $ 1 billion. The senior officials of the Partnership Fund and representatives of K-Water expressed willingness to continue cooperation. David Saganelidze, CEO of the Fund introduced the guests to the Fund’s strategy, including the prioritization of agriculture sector and popularization of the Georgian wine.
