The Partnership Fund hosts Delegation of China

A Delegation of Jilin Province of the People’s Republic of China is hosted by the Partnership Fund. Delegation led by David Saganelidze, CEO of the Partnership Fund met with Manana Kobakhidze, Vice-speaker of the Parliament of Georgia. At the meeting the sides discussed China-Georgia cooperation prospects as well as economic and trade relations between the two countries. "The delegation is very impressive. There are representatives of government, financial and business sectors. The goal of their visit is to study country’s business climate and investment potential. They are also interested to implement joint projects oriented on economic development,” David Saganelidze, CEO of the Partnership Fund. At the meeting the sides underlined the importance of New Silk Road project, which will support Eastern and Western countries to further deepen cultural and business ties. They also discussed future cooperation prospects and touched upon events planned by China and Georgia jointly. Among the events are: Georgia will host women international forum to increase awareness of women’s role in public life; it is scheduled to send a Georgian delegation for an official visit to Jilin province. As the Chinese delegation is interested in investing in various sectors, it is planned to organize a meeting with representatives of the government and business, governors and Tbilisi Mayor. The Chinese delegation members include: Che Xiulan, Vice Chairman, The Standing Committee of Jilin Provincial People’s Congress, Li Xiaojie, Chairman of Jilin Province Women’s Federation, Yu Shouchen, Member of The Standing Committee of Jilin Provincial People’s Congress and Vice Chairman of Ethnic, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of Jilin Provincial People’s Congress, Zheng Gang, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Jilin Province and Feng Shanghong, Deputy Director of General Office of Jilin Provincial People’s Congress. The Chinese delegation visited historical monuments and other sightings of Georgia.
