Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Development Fund of Georgia, David Saganelidze and the CEO of the Fund Besik Bugianishvili, hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Commerce of China.
The Fund Management introduced the mandate and investment principles of the Development Fund of Georgia to the members of the Chinese delegation. The Deputy CEO of the Fund, Vakhtang Jorbenadze, and the Director of the Investment Department, Dimitri Khorava, provided the delegation with detailed information about the investment projects implemented by the Fund in various sectors of the economy.
Zhao Qiuyan, Deputy Director-General of the Eurasian Affairs Department, Ministry of Commerce of China, as well as Gao Hong, Division Director of the World Trade Organization Affairs Departmen and Zhang Jie, the Division Director of the Eurasian Affairs Department of the Ministry, discussed the prospects for future cooperation with the Fund and the possibilities of implementing joint projects.
At the informal meeting, the parties discussed the promotion of export-import between Georgia and China, further activation of trade relations, and future plans.
