Joint project of the Development Fund of Georgia and Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation. Gardabani combined cycle gas operating thermal power plant is a 230 MW power company, which was built in January 2014 and started operating in July 2015. The construction of the Gardabani Combined Cycle Thermal Power Plant was carried out by a Turkish company “Calik Enerji”. Gardabani TPP plays a special role in ensuring energy security and independence of the country.
