LOPOTA TOURIST COMPLEX

With the support of the Development Fund of Georgia and Lopota Tour Service Company the Lopota Tourist Complex has been expanded in Kakheti region, eastern Georgia.

The second phase of the Lopota spa resort expansion project has already been completed in the Kakheti region. As part of the renovated Lopota Complex, an additional 84-room hotel, administration building, 600-seat event hall, restaurant, bungalow, fitness club, indoor and outdoor swimming pools have been built.

Within the frames of the third phase of the project implemented by the Partnership Fund, construction of the Chateau Buera is underway, which will combine a winery and a restaurant.

The Lopota complex included 102 hotel rooms before being expanded. The complex currently includes a spa center, a Kakhetian restaurant, a wine restaurant, a lounge bar, open air bungalows, an All Day Dining restaurant, a nightclub, a pool and a variety of entertainment. The hotel has been operating on the market since 2008. At present 250 people are employed on the spot, 180 of which are local staff.
