Besik Bugianishvili, Executive Director of the Development Fund of Georgia, and Merab Kakulia, Deputy Chairman of the Fund’s Supervisory Board, met with representatives of the French Embassy in Georgia.
At the meeting, the Executive Director of the Development Fund of Georgia provided detailed information to Hugo Debruaz, Head of the Economic Section, and Chloe Chevenez, Economic Officer of the French Embassy, about the reformed Fund’s activities, strategy, and the new nationwide investment projects it has implemented. During the discussion, special emphasis was placed on the Fund’s unique role in facilitating and supporting the entry and establishment of foreign companies in the Georgian market. Attention was also drawn to the Fund’s active cooperation with both Western and Asian companies, as well as Georgia’s geostrategic location, which makes the country particularly attractive to investors.
Representatives of the French Embassy spoke about the interest of French companies in implementing investment projects across various sectors of the Georgian economy. They expressed their readiness to facilitate business relations with French companies, which will contribute to deepening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
